Andrew and the Pony – a fable from a stable.

Performed by Andrew Bridge

Directed by Jay Moy

Written by Jay Moy and Andy Bridge

A live Fringe Show ride like no other, Andrew and the Pony canters off-track in search of the ultimate truth; love, loss and the impossible unspoken bond between a man and his good intentioned beast. Powerful live storytelling incorporating film and the occasional powerful song, quenches the thirst for a modern-day fable from a stable. Throw off the reins, saddle up your inner-pony and join Andrew on a quest for the truth wherever it may hide. Please wipe your hooves on the way out.

The show’s creators Andrew Bridge and Jay Moy are drawn to the gentle and dark. Award winning filmmakers, their close partnership has spawned many light hearted creations including, ‘The Loan’ a short film about fostering a man-boy, ‘The Limbless Berk’ channelling the spirit of Catherine Cookson with life changing consequences, a documentary following Electro Latino maestro Senor Coconut around Europe and ‘Alphorn’ a film about competing in the International Alphine Horn Competition on top of a Swiss Alp, as featured in GQ and Brighton Film Festival.

Andrew and the Pony is their first live comedy show, devised in 2013 and premiering at Brighton Fringe Festival to great applause with dates at Camden Fringe and Edinburgh.
